What it is

An attestation is only worth as much as its verifiability.

Most compliance certificates ask you to believe the issuer. Elvatis Trust turns that around: every attestation carries its own proof. An insurer, a client or a regulator can check the status, the framework and the validity themselves – with open cryptography, no account, no call to us. This is the trust layer beneath the entire Elvatis system.

How it works

Three layers. Each one verifiable on its own.

01 – SIGNED

Signed as a Verifiable Credential

Every attestation is a W3C Verifiable Credential, signed with the Ed25519 key of the identity did:web:trust.elvatis.com. The signature proves the attestation comes from Elvatis and has not been altered.

02 – LOGGED

Recorded in a tamper-evident log

Every attestation is appended to an append-only Merkle transparency log (RFC 6962). Once recorded, an attestation cannot be removed or rewritten without detection.

03 – WITNESSED

Witnessed on a public blockchain

The root of the log is anchored – as a hash only, with no content – on Solana. This external witness ensures that not even we can split the log into two conflicting versions after the fact.

Only a 32-byte hash of the log root is stored on Solana. No attestations, no personal data, no payments. The data stays in Germany.

Verify a credential

Received a verification link or a credential id from an Elvatis customer? Enter the id. You will see the status, the framework, the validity period and the full cryptographic proof.

Verification runs through the public endpoint /verify/<id>. Machines get JSON there, people get the readable view.
